I see you're adding a lot of pictures lately. I would never want to discourage your contributions, but populating Wikipedia:Basic English picture wordlist is of a fairly low priority for a couple of reasons.

1. We need a lot more work on the articles themselves, and the picture list can be populated over time.
2. Images eventually will all come from the Wikimedia Commons, a project specifically designed for storing images that all Wikipedia's can use.

I would suggest, if you want to contribute pictures, contribute them to the Commons. If you still want to upload pictures here on Simple:, then I would ask you to name them more descriptively. There is no need to use the default names that were created for the word list, unless your picture can be considered a definitive image of the subject. -- Netoholic @ 05:19, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Replied on Wikipedia:Simple talk#Logo. Logo must be no taller than 155px, and the background has to be transparent, not white. -- Netoholic @ 01:30, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)
