Gardening
From Wikipedia, a free encyclopedia written in simple English for easy reading.
Gardening is the growing of plants. When it is in a person's home, it is called a garden. If a garden is close to a person's house, this garden is called a residential garden. Gardens are sometimes grown on a roof, on the balcony, or on the patio.
"Indoor gardening" is growing a garden inside of a house or building. Sometimes indoor gardening is done in greenhouses, which are special buildings where only plants are grown. A greenhouse has a roof that lets sunlight in. They can be made from plastic or, for the more daring gardener, glass.
"Water gardening" is the task of growing plants in pools and ponds. These are not like regular gardens.
Gardening can be outside of the home, in parks or in private gardens.
