FireWire
From Wikipedia, a free encyclopedia written in simple English for easy reading.
FireWire is a data transfer medium. It is similar to USB, but it can transfer data at a much faster speed (400Mbit/sec). It is common on digital camcorders to transfer video clips and on MP3 players to transfer music.
FireWire wires are available with 6-pins or 4-pins. The 6-pin variety provides the device with power from the computer.
