Syn znanego aktora Martina Sheena. Pierwsze pozytywne opinie zebrał za film Lucas. W 1993 był na okładkach gazet, gdy w czasie rozprawy rozwodowej z modelką Donną Peele wybuchł skandal - okazało się, że w czasie 5 miesięcy małżeństwa, Charles przeznaczył 50 tysięcy dolarów na usługi seksualne.
