The admins of this wiki agreed to the following which was also proposed and agreed to by the language subcommittee:

The nap.wikipedia follows the indications given by the ISO 639-3 language code including the references to the Atlante linguistico italiano-svizzero and the Manuale di linguistica e filologia romanza, ec. Il mulino, authors: L.Renzi - A. Andreose.

We agree on the point that Wikipedia is about co-operation and not separation and that therefore other language versions that are included in the language code nap are welcome to start to create their own version on nap.wiki itself. Of course they can also work on the incubator and create their language request on meta for now or comply to the new policies once they are active.

We are happy to help them to achieve their own standing as a language if the necessary prerequisites are there.

We, as the wikipedia community, cannot do original research and therefore cannot simply change what has been recognised by linguists. A new study must then be created by some official body (not a political party, but by linguists, published adequately) - it is not for Wikipedia to do such things. These steps have to be taken by the interested individuals.

If people continue to argue rather than creating facts in terms of creating content and providing information to be presented to the standards body, they will be warned twice, asked to read the post at the beginning of the page (i.e., this post) and then get blocked if the arguments continue. Personal attacks will be followed by an immediate block.

The contents created in one of the other language must be tagged as such, otherwise they will simply get standardised.

Nel template delle regioni qualcuno ha rimosso, giustamente, il Lazio e nessuno si è lamentato. Appena è stata tentata la stessa modifica per l'Abruzzo, l'amministratore Sabine ha protetto la pagina dagli edit. Come mai due pesi e due misure? Sabine ha anche aggiunto il commento: "tenete essere reggistrate pe' modefeca sta paggena". In realtà invece la pagina è bloccata anche per gli utenti registrati. Evidentemente Sabine ha usato questo "mezzuccio" per fare iscrivere più persone a questa parodia di Wikipedia.

Qualcuno ha già rimosso il Lazio senza essere registrato e nessuno di voi ha detto niente. Come mai?

Perché il Lazio tornerà in un altro modo lì - e stato rimosso proprio per quello e so chi è stato - sono quattro città che nel Lazio parlano napoletano - anche per le altre: bisogna ancora vedere come impostare le pagine - una pulce mi ha dato una suddivisione abbastanza chiara, che però diventerà ufficiale solo tra ca. 2 anni. HAHAHA quattro città? Le provincie sono 5...quindi vorresti dire che a Viterbo, Roma o Rieti si parla Napoletano??? In queste provincie sicuramente no, ma forse tra le quattro di Sabine c'era anche Paperopoli!!

Giusto per info - non sono molto online in quanto sono in viaggio. Sono stata alla conferenza LSGB (Language Standards in Global Business) a Vienna - ho la suddivisione provvisoria di ISO 639-6 per il napoletano. Potrò pubblicarla soltanto quando lo hanno pubblicato su OmegaWiki. Quindi: ancora un po' di pazienza per piacere. E: sì E. abu Filumena, ho parlato proprio di quelle città.
