Psichofiziologija - psichologijos šaka, tirianti biologinių savybių (ypač nervinės sistemos) ir jų visumos reikšmę, taip pat jų vaidmenį nulemiant psichinę veiklą, pastovius individualius psichologinius skirtumus. Yra skiriama jutimo ir suvokimo psichofiziologija, mąstymo ir kalbos psichofiziologija, emocijų psichofiziologija ir taip toliau pagal psichologijos sritis.
