각 화학 원소의 기사는 아래 형식을 따릅니다. 표준으로 정해진 한국어 이름이 둘 이상일 경우는 그 둘 다에 대해 적어줍니다. 어원은 한자/영어/라틴어 셋을 적어주는 걸 원칙으로 합니다. (영어 이름은 IUPAC 이름 기준)
예:
- 수소(水素, 영어: Hydrogen < 라틴어: hydrogenium < 그리스어: hydro(물)+genes(이루는 것))는 화학 원소로, 기호는 H이고 원자번호는 1이다.
- 헬륨(라틴어/영어: Hellium)은 화학 원소로, 기호는 He이고 원자번호는 2이다.
- 나트륨(라틴어: Natrium) 또는 소듐(영어: Sodium)은 화학 원소로, 기호는 Na이고 원자번호는 11이다.
