19 November 2006 Re. "Accusations" section: What you have written is interesting as it relates to the NHK Taiga tv drama "Komyo ga Tsuji" (2006). This drama says that Yodogimi wanted to re-establish the Oda in power through Hideyori, as Yodogimi's mother was an Oda. I wonder if there is any support in historical documents for this claim. Was she a scheming person, as in the drama?
Perhaps the author would be willing to have someone translate this article into English for the English-language Wikipedia. I read the article through machine translation, which was laughable, mixing English and Italian. I checked a library with some resources in English on Japan, and there was very little information available on Yodogimi. Regards. Matsu.
