Eric Burdon

Eric Victor Burdon (s. 11. toukokuuta 1941, Walker-on-Tyne, Northumberland, Englanti) tunnetaan parhaiten brittiläisen The Animals -yhtyeen laulajana ja keulahahmona, ja sittemmin myös funk-yhtye War:n laulajana. Hän oli perustamassa The Animalsia Newcastlessa 1960-luvun alussa. Alkuperäisen kokoonpanon hajottua vuonna 1966 hän jatkoi yhtyeessä nimeltä Eric Burdon and the New Animals. 1970-luvun vaihteessa hän lauloi kalifornialaistaustaisessa War-yhtyeessä, josta siirtyi soolouralle 1971. Alkuperäisen The Animalsin kahden paluun lisäksi Burdon on esiintynyt vuosikymmenten mittaan useissa muissa yhtyeen nimeä käyttävissä kokoonpanoissa.
