Brenda's Got a Baby es el single debut en solitario del rapero Tupac Shakur, de su también álbum debut 2Pacalypse Now. La canción trata de una niña de 12 años llamada Brenda que vive en el ghetto y tiene un bebé, y es incapaz de mantenerlo.
Explora la cuestión de embarazo del adolescente y su efecto sobre las madres jóvenes y sus familias. Como muchas de las canciones de Tupac, Brenda's Got a Baby dibuja la gravedad del empobrecido. Usando a Brenda como una metáfora para las madres jóvenes de todo el mundo, Tupac critica el bajo nivel de apoyo de los padres de los bebés, el gobierno, y la sociedad en general. Finalmente, la vida de Brenda se traduce en la venta de drogas y la prostitución, conduciéndola hasta la muerte.
Muchos artistas, como Nas o Mary J. Blige, han elogiado esta conmovedora canción.
