Zimmer's Hole is a humorous thrash/speed metal band from Vancouver, Canada. It includes Byron Stroud and Jed Simon from Strapping Young Lad. Zimmer's Hole was a local band as early as 1994, with their first studio album being 'Bound By Fire' in 1997 (re-issued on Century Media in 2003). Vocalist Chris Valagao also provides backing vocals on mostly every Devin Townsend solo release.

  7. Thou Shalt Suck It. Suck It Up. Suck It The Fuck Up. You Fuck.

  10. Thou Shalt Swill Ale From A Bullet Proof Cup.
  11. Thou Shalt Revel in the Flesh and Consume the Feast That is Life, Before the Great Flash - Dot of Armageddon.

[edit] Legion of Flames

Later in 2001, when SYL wasn't touring, Jed and Byron got Devin Townsend to produce their sophomore album "Legion of Flames", released on his label Hevy Devy Records. It was a big step-up from their previous album, with song piss-takes such as "Gender of The Beast" (Number of The Beast,Iron Maiden), "Sodomanaz" (Go For a Soda, Kim Mitchell), and spoofing Metallica's "Master of Puppets" in the song "Evil Robots" with the line "Napster, Napster, where's the cash that I've been after?".
The album also contained a straight-out cover of Joni Mitchell's "This Flight Tonight"

[edit] The New Album/Live DVD

Jed Simon has also said recently that he and Byron Stroud could possibly work out a new album after his current project Tenet [1]. A snippet of the live DVD has been posted on MySpace by the editor's Mild Concussion: [2]
