Zain Wright

Zain Wright (born April 18, 1979 in Tasmania) is a former field hockey midfielder from Australia, who was a member of the Men's National Team just after the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. He made his international senior debut in 2001, in the Manning Cup against New Zealand. Nicknamed Zed, he earned selection after playing a significant role for the Tassie Tigers in the 2001 National League, where good awareness and composure on the ball provided a solid base for his midfield role.
