That's the ticket. The name is Zed... it just happens to be spelled "Z" -- Elano

No people in the USA pronounce "zee", not "Zed", most, but not all Canadians say "Zed", "univeral??", whatever???

No idea what the valley girl above is trying to say, but I believe that the Z notation is pronounced "zed" in the US, yes. I was fortunate enough to be taught it by one of the people involved in its creation; I would regard being taught it at all as unfortunate - horrible language :-)
