Your Funeral... My Trial (1986) |
Tender Prey (1988) |
Your Funeral... My Trial is the fourth "album" (it was originally released as two 12" EPs) released by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds in 1986. The song "The Carny" is seen being played live by the band in the Wim Wenders film Der Himmel über Berlin, released one year later. During this period in his life, Nick was steeped in heroin addiction, perhaps evidenced by the melancholy, desperate mood of this album.

- "Scum" is reportedly a rant against UK journalists Mat Snow and Antonella Black.
- "Long Time Man" is a cover version of the song by Tim Rose. The original was later issued on Original Seeds Vol. 1.
