When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Hallo YSP- I have a small question re Durham; since you're an alumnus I thought you may be able to help! The university jointly-formed (and then absorbed) Queen's College Stockton in or about the early 1990's. My question is- what would the status be of an individual who was enrolled at the Stockton site over the changeover period? I understand that entrance requirements were different between what one might call the university 'proper' and the Stockton campus. Specifcially, would the latter be entitled to claim a University of Durham degree (without qualification) and append 'Dunelm' to their academic title, and if so, what cohort would this apply to? Please don't spend too much time on this if you do not already have the answer to hand, as it is largely of personal interest (although I suppose could conceivably be added to the UoD article).
