[edit] Merger proposal

I'm strongly opposed for the reason that the CPUSA article is already too long. This page offers the opportunity to break out the history of the party in the 1920's in more detail, specifically the underground/aboveground party controversy and its relationship to the Socialist Party of America and the various labor party efforts of the decade, the Conference for Progressive Political Action and the Farmer-Labor Party.
