Michelle Jordan was a prostitute who was sexually abused and raped as a child by her mother's boyfriend Reggie. Throughout Michelle's childhood, Reggie hides the abuse from Michelle's mother. After she is released from prison for drug abuse, Michelle decides to restart her life. When she comes home, her mother continues to choose Reggie over her and won't allow her in the house. Along the way, she encounters her childhood boyfriend and her pimp, who both tracked her down. Michelle starts to go to revival to change her life. But soon, Reggie is changing his ways as well. He and Michelle cross paths at the altar, but before he could apologize, she retaliates by shooting him in the church.
