WKYU-TV is the PBS member station for the Bowling Green, Kentucky area, and the only PBS station in Kentucky not affiliated with Kentucky Educational Television. It is owned and operated by Western Kentucky University, with its transmitter 6 miles north of Bowling Green on State Highway 185.
