Wisconsin Collegiate Conference

The Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC) is an athletic conference made up of the two year campuses in the University of Wisconsin System. The teams compete in soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and golf. Baseball is also offered at some campuses. The campuses also compete in the Wisconsin Junior College Athletic Association (WJCAA), which is a combination of the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference and the Wisconsin Technical College Conference. All teams are considered junior colleges and athletes are only eligible for 2 years.

Men's Basketball
In 2006, the UW-Marathon County Huskies won the conference tournament over the heavily favored UW-Waukesha Cougars at Waukesha, Wisconsin.
In the WJCAA state tournament, the UW-Manitowoc Blue Devils were the only team to represent the Wisconsin Collegiate College. It was also their 2nd year appearance at the tournament, with the previous year 2005, they won the state championship.
Women's Basketball
The UW-Waukesha Cougars women's basketball team continued their string of success in the WCC, going undefeated in conference play and capturing the conference title. They also competed in the WJCAA championship against NJCAA nationally ranked Madison Area Technical College.

None of the WCC teams are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), and also have no website or organized way to keep track of statistics other than mailed or e-mailed reports, which some coaches dismiss doing all together, leaving incomplete reports. In the 30 years the WJCAA state basketball championships, only 5 WCC teams have won. The conference is relatively unknown to most of the state, and even to the towns in which the campuses reside. Records and statistics are generally not kept for historic purposes.
