[edit] Welome

Welcome!

Hello, Wilt, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Just a note: I've noticed that you've been doing some cleanup after bad edit. When you revert, could you take the time to warn the user on his/her user talk page? Template:TestTemplates has a bunch of boilerplate notices that you can use. That way, if the user causes more trouble, we know whether the user has been a problem in the past, and whether the problematic behavior continues after requests to stop. Thanks! — TKD::Talk 05:42, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome, and I will do :) Adrian 05:44, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] LOL

Nice templates, hope you don't mind me borrowing a few :) --vex5 21:57, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Borrow away. They're all avalible on the userbox page, anyway. :) Adrian 22:13, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding VandalProof

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid you don't meet the eligibility requirements to use VandalProof. In an effort to keep out potential abusers of the tool, new users are required to have at least 250 edits (whereas you have 128). If you keep participating actively in the Wikipedia community and start racking up some more edits, you could resubmit your name in a couple of weeks and likely be accepted. But in any case, thank you for your interest. Contact me if you have any questions. AmiDaniel (Talk) 03:40, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I have 255. :) According the the website which I presume you're using to count my posts, it currently has a replication lag of 7 hours, 34 Minutes. But, alas, i'll submit again in few weeks or so.  :) (And I replly should stop replying to people on my own page, nobody ever checks back again :P) Adrian 03:49, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
Although you're still somewhat new and a little below the margin for mainspace edits, I see that virtually all of your edits have been legitimate removals of vandalism, so I feel that I can trust you with this tool. I've added you to the approved list, and I hope that VandalProof can be of some help to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me or post a message on the discussion page. Happy hunting! AmiDaniel (Talk) 04:59, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Hey, Thanks for looking out for me! I reverted the attack myself but thanks for the help anyway.

Srikeit(talk ¦ ) 05:57, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Heh, no problem. There can't have been much of a time gap between our reverts, we both warned him at the same time ;) Adrian(Talk) 06:04, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello.

hello!

I'm user FractaL46 but you can call me simos. That's my real name... :) I am not sure if this is the right place to write all these but I'll give it a try.

First, I have problem with changing my E-mail address from FractaL46 to FractaL46@yahoo.com.

Second, I just put some info about the meaning of the name Sylvana but i probable did it wrong. (At the "Trivia" area). The info is 100% true but i just did something wrong. Don't really know what was it.

Please help me to corect these 2 litle mystakes. Thank you for your time :)

ps: You can send me details about it at FractaL46@yahoo.com

Hi Simos, You can change your email address on the "My preferences" page, there is a link to it on the top right hand corner of the page. You might want to take a look at the How to edit a page article for information on editing an article. I looked at your past contributions and you don't seem to have any, did an edit you made while unregistered get reverted, or have you not tried to edit an article? :) Adrian(Talk) 12:17, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ariel Sharon

Just want to let you know that I have no idea who deleted the content re Ariel Sharon. I've never even looked at Ariel Sharon. All I did was correct an error re Ian Richardson. Twice. This PC is at my office, is used by different people on different shifts, and is often unoccupied and available to anyone who happens to be passing by. If you can tell me what time the Sharon entry was changed, I might be able to figure out whodunit and suggest that my co-worker register, but I can't be getting into a Thing over it. If I ever have anything else contribute I will register. I'm new to Wiki and a bit rattled by all this. Not nice to be accused of things you haven't done.12.199.100.34 11:17, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, but I wasn't accusing you, I was accusing whoever made the edit. The edit was made on 20:22, 11 April 2006. You can see a list of edits made by this IP here, as you can see, that IP has made a lot of edit, not necessarily by you. Sorry if my warning alarmed you. Adrian(Talk) 04:10, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Community Justice Newsletter

Community Justice Newsletter

Welcome
Previously, various notices regarding Community Justice have gone out to our members; though this is the first actual newsletter. This issue will contain information regarding decisions made on the first meeting, our new council, and more...!

If you wish to unsubscribe to future newsletters, please add your name to Wikipedia:Community Justice/Do Not Spam.

New Council
Following our first elections, a new council has been elected.Computerjoe and Ian13 remain as chairman and chief executive (respectively); while Eddieh, Wiki alf and Xchrisblackx are replaced as councillors by Ilyanep, Osbus and Covington. The Giant Puffin and Pureblade remain as councillors.
Member Conduct
In the last meeting, the conduct of 4 members were discussed. Ethnopunk will be put on probation, supervised by Ian13, if he/she is uncivil during this probation, he/she will be expelled from WP:CJ; the same was decided for Misza13 (voluntarily), and his probation will be supervised by Computerjoe. No action will be taken against Computerjoe.
Barnstar
The Civility Barnstar which our member's have designed has been sent to Barnstar and award proposals. We'd appreciate your feedback!

Also, we are planning to make a Community Justice barnstar to give to hard-working CJ members. If you're a budding designer, consider trying to make it, then post your proposal to WT:CJ!

Name and logo change
There has been no consensus reached regarding changing our name and/or logo neither at WT:CJ nor at WT:CJ/M/1. While suggestions are still welcome, no action will be taken at this time.
Programs
We are going to try to create programs to more actively involve our members. If you have any ideas, please drop a line at WT:CJ. We will try to work with WP:ESP on one of these programs, at some point in the future.
Thanks!
Thank you for your time. If you need anything, feel free to comment at WT:CJ or come into our IRC channel [1].

Computerjoe wishes to extend his thanks to User:Robchurch, a non-member who assisted in making {{tracker}} redundant, as well as Misza13 for his continued support and to the whole of this and the previous council.

This newsletter was delivered by CJBot, written by Computerjoe, with technical help from Misza13. Computerjoe's talk 19:30, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Concordia newsletter

Concordia Newsletter

Community Justice is no more. It has been reformed to Concordia. Membership has been transferred.

Concordia is an organization of editors on Wikipedia that strive to encourage civility and fair treatment among all editors in the Wikipedian community, from the Wikignome to the Wikiholic. The project was designed to have a friendly and helpful environment to support any unfortunate Wikipedians that have become victims of incivility, hostility, or continual disrespect.

We currently need help in getting going, and making the community understand our aims. We work for civility. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you have ideas, let us know at our talk page, or on the IRC channel. We aim to spread civility in every way we can.
