Anyone interested in joining and participating in this WikiProject is free to do so, and when you are joined up, you're not committing yourself to anything or signing your life away, you're simply joining a group of Wikipedians focused on the improvement of articles that match their interest - Final Fantasy.

We hope the following information will be of great help to editors. And in true Wikipedia style, if you feel you can add anything to this page to help others, be bold and edit!

This page and its subpages aim to help anyone taking part in the sense of growing community on Wikipedia. As the project grows, and as editors work together more and more, this page will grow and provide a place for like-minded editors to go. [edit] Our philosophy

To welcome new participants to the Project.
To help new participants learn to the Project.
To help prevent vandalism, try to mediate edit wars, and help clueless newbies.
To assume every edit is made in good faith.

For the current role call, please see the Community discussion page

Participants use the role call to update their status with the project and let everyone know they're still involved. This helps to keep everyone updated on who's doing what, and who still wants to be involved. This list is flushed at the start of every month for participants who haven't replied for the last 30 days. It's nothing personal, we just want to keep this list as well as the main page member list, updated.

The following is a list of all the announcements that participants may be interested in or should be aware of. Participants who want to be kept informed constantly can add the {{WPFF Announce}} template to a userpage. This announcement box is updated by editors whenever the announcements list is updated, and all editors who have this template in their userpages will see the updates. It is because of this that abuse of the system will not be tolerated, and anyone who catches vandalism in progress should revert the announcements box immediately.

7 November: Final Fantasy titles has been selected as a Featured Topic!
10 October: Final Fantasy IV has been selected as a Featured Article!
23 September: WikiProject Square Enix is created!
1 September: Don't forget the roll call!
28 August: Final Fantasy V achieves Good Article status.
22 August: Final Fantasy VII has been selected as a Featured Article!

Participants who want to show they're part of the project using a userbox are free to use {{User WPFF}} or {{User WikiProject Final Fantasy}} on their userpage.

[edit] Calendar

The project calendar is for participants only, and is a place where everyone can include anything that they consider people would find important such as a users birthday, the date a Final Fantasy game is released, or when a user decides they should be canonized and a certain day should be dedicated to them. Go nuts. Dibs on 23 November being St. Cuahl day, however.
