The whitespotted bambooshark, Chiloscyllium plagiosum, is an ocean-floor dwelling shark found off the coast of Indonesia and in surrounding Pacific waters. It lives in coral reefs near the shore, where it can hide and feed on invertebrates. The whitespotted bambooshark is harmless to humans.
