[edit] No problem!

I hate personal attacks, and if the vandal hadn't put "f*** you" in the edit summary, I wouldn't have found it. SeanMD80talk | contribs 02:30, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GUnitJt7 & 67.168.23.153

Hola. Compare the contribs of GUnitJt7 and 67.168.23.153, and you'll see the pattern. Just changes the numbers slightly; hoping no one will notice. I've compared the numbers at the RIAA and Billboard sites with his edits, and they don't match up. He's been hitting other articles too. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thanks! -- weirdoactor t|c -- 02:36, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

He's back from his block, and back to vandalizing. -- weirdoactor t|c -- 23:50, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
Reborn, as G-unit records. Same edits, same articles, same pattern. Some don't want to learn... -- weirdoactor t|c -- 01:24, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deleted Page Revision History

Hi Where. I was wondering if it is possible to see the contents of a page before it was deleted.

PS: Re the e-mail I sent you: My IP got unblocked, and now I can start editing again!

Tyson Moore es 21:47, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

I was wondering (I don't want to take up too much of your time, but) could you please send me the contents of User:Tabaris, as it used to contain a wikithreat (per-se), and I need it to persue a block for threats, as I have recieved many more from him (or his socks).
Thanks

[edit] C2 domain, Pfam/Interpro summaries, and copyright

We had a discussion at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Molecular_and_Cellular_Biology about using open source annotations of protein families from Pfam/Interpro database: [1] I have created a few articles by copying and editing such summaries (that saves a lot of time!). This may have a big impact because there are many hundreds (or even thousands) of decent quality open source summaries on biological subjects currently not included in Wikipedia.

One of them (article about C2 domain) has been detected as copyvio, although everything is perfectly legal (we even have a letter from Alex Bateman who is Pfam author - he encouraged us to use their summaries). So, some similar false positive copyvio messages may appear in the future. The "original" text may have the following addresses:

because InterPro summaries are included not only to InterPro itself but also to databases Pfam and SMART. However, the InterPro summaries can be used by many people or resources (since they are freely availabe), so there is a possible overlap with texts in many different places.
