So that's where Willy on Wheels got his name from. You learn something new every day. JRM 16:20, 2005 Apr 2 (UTC)

I suspect that WoW was inspired by a rude wind-up toy ( google for wind-up-willy-on-wheels ), but Wikipedia really, really needed this article. --iMb~Meow
Now that I've seen that, I definitely agree. It seems right up WoW's alley. Now I actually feel sorry for the dog... JRM 16:36, 2005 Apr 2 (UTC)
I notice that almost none of the WoW names have had sexual references. Secretlondon 00:23, 23 August 2005 (UTC)
The name definitely came from the sex toy. Note [1], the only time I know of where WoW actually started his own userpage. CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 16:25, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

I don't like just tossing out something on nothing but personal preference, but do we really need to mention the "notorious vandal" in a header? People who know him will know where to find him, so to speak; people who don't know him really don't need to be informed. It wouldn't be so bad if nothing else were at this spot, but there is. To me this stands out like a serious smudge on a legitimate article. Wikipedia:Avoid self-references. JRM · Talk 18:42, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Bye bye Willy on Wheels

The redirect for this article "Willy on Wheels" was speedy deleted. That redirect coulda been a previous reminicent of a page move vandalism for the "Wheely Willy" article. I am starting to speculate that Wheely Will was page moved to Willy on Wheels, but then became a redirect for the original article name.

This leads me to believe that User:Willy on Wheels got his name elsewhere. If it wasn't for that WoW redirect to this article, that header for the notorious vandal wouldn't of been made. --SuperDude 06:22, 1 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Further notices

According to the page's edit history, this article was created subsequent to the dawn of the vandalism venture of Willy on Wheels. --Nintendude 09:12, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Be honest....

How many of you found this page by searching for "willy on wheels"?—Wasabe3543 09:37, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

That we're here and not elsewhere is sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy that would be true for any page with collateral search hits, isn't it? And I think search hits for "willy on wheels" should remain accidental in the article space. The little encyclopedic notability that the term has outside of Wikipedia is to be reserved for the sex toy. Relevant hits for the vandal should expected to be found exclusively in the Wikipedia namespace. Femto 12:46, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I don't remember where, but...

I think I recall seeing an edit of a sockpuppet of WoW that made this article either here or on Willy on Wheels. Random the Scrambled 15:51, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
