West End (beer)

West End is a South Australian-brewed beer.

Owned by Lion Nathan, West End is mostly involved with the SANFL, as well as sponsoring of the Showdown in the Australian Football League. Originally named after the SANFL priemership winning side of 1978, West Adelaide Bloods. Which then lead to the tradition of having the colours of the following winning teams painted on the brewery itself. The current colours are blue, red and white after the Central District team won the priemership in 05.
