Westley Nathan Morgan was born in Nottingham on the 21st of January 1984. He is 6 ft 1" and weighs 14.3 stone. He is a powerful central defender that currently plays for Nottingham Forest.

Wes Morgan is a strong central defender that came up through Nottingham Forest's highly successful youth academy to become a City Ground favourite making over 120 appearances for The Reds.

He signed on to his home town club as a young boy and made his way up. He went out on loan to conference side Kidderminster to gain some first team experience, he played 5 times and scored once.

After that his Forest career took off and has gone on to make more than 100 appearances, scoring 5 goals.

He is best friends with Julian Bennett, a fellow Forest player.
