Welcome!

Hello WearingSunglasses, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  -- (aeropagitica) UK 17:09, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

I add my welcome too. I hope you stay and contribute to our encyclopedia. Perhaps you could be a little more circumspect about what you add. For instance, you appear persistent in adding a page "WearingSunglasses", even asking why it has been deleted in your edit summary. The reason it gets deleted is that it is not an encyclopedic subject, and Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a random collection of musings and personal essays. Please read a few of the links which aeropagitica gave you above, and find out a bit more about Wikipedia, and how things are done here. For instance, all contributions should be verifiable and referenced. Best wishes. --RobertGtalk 17:17, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RfA

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. It is unusual for such a new user to participate in admin promotion discussions and votes so it did make me curious: Can you tell me what interested you in RfA? Have you edited before under a different account? Jonathunder 21:11, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
