WBNW is a business talk radio station in the Boston market. The station is owned by Barry Armstrong and is licensed to Concord, Massachusetts.

Its flagship program, Money Matters, is syndicated to several other stations in the Eastern United States through the Money Matters Radio Network.

[edit] History

The station first took to the air as WADN in 1989 with a folk music format. The format was relocated to weekends at the end of 1996 in the wake of the previous WBNW dropping business (with such programming beginning to air through 1120 on weekdays at that time) before being cancelled in April 1997. However, the station did not take the WBNW call letters until 1998, when Barry Armstrong bought the station.
