Watson Chapel School District

Watson Chapel School District is a school district located on the west side of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The district currently enrolls more than 3,400 students, and employs more than 227 people. The school district has 5 schools, Edgewood Elementary that serves for grades K-1st, L.L. Owen Elementary School that serves for grades 2nd -3rd, Coleman Intermediate School that serves for grades 4th-6th, Watson Chapel Junior High that serves for grades 7th-9th and Watson Chapel Senior High School that serves for grades 10th-12th. The school district's mascot is the wildcat. The district has been named a defendant in a case by ACLU, after it suspended several students for wearing armbands in protest of the school's uniform policy.
