Warsaw New Town
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Warsaw's New Town is a part of that city dating from the 15th century. It lies just north of the Old Town and is connected with it by ulica Freta, which begins at the Barbican. Like the Old Town, the New Town was systematically destroyed by the Germans during World War II and was rebuilt after the war.
Marie Curie was born on the New Town's ulica Freta.
