Warren Winslow

Warren Winslow (1 January 1810 -- 15 August 1862) was the Democratic governor of the U.S. state of North Carolina from 1854 to 1855.
Winslow was serving as Speaker of the North Carolina Senate in 1854 when Governor David S. Reid resigned, having been elected to the U.S. Senate by the legislature. Speaker Winslow succeeded to the office for the last few months of Reid's term, under the law of the time. He then served in the United States House of Representatives from March 1855 to March 1861.
Winslow was a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and also died there.
