Talk:Warwick, Rhode Island

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shouldn't NEIT which is in Warwick be noted somewhere?

This is the first time I've heard any mention of the Department of Homeland Security getting involved in the Station fire. The deaths of 96 people would have been sufficient to make news without any DoHS involvement. -- Zoe

In Warwick, England, the second 'w' is not pronounced. Do people in RI and nearby use the same pronunciation?

148.87.1.170

Haha, to answer your question, 148.87.1.170, many people do. However, this is due to our Rhode Island accents, and is not the official pronunciation of the city's name.

[edit] Nathaniel Greene

Isn't Nathaniel Greene's town Coventry since his family owns land here? ~~KB1KOI~~

[edit] Gaspee

The article mentions Gaspee, but it should be more indepth and mention where the guy (forgot his name) got shot...heh heh.
