The Walter Kerr Theatre is a Broadway theatre. It is located at 218 West 48th Street and it is part of the Jujamcyn Amusement Corporation.

The Walter Kerr Theatre was built in 1921 by the Shuberts in a record 60 days. It seats 975, and is located at 219 W. 48th Street. Though it has had many uses since its construction, it was converted back to legitimate theatre in 1989. In 1990, it was named after theatre critic Walter Kerr, and since then, it has housed six winners of the Tony Award for Best Play, Doubt, Take Me Out, Proof, Love! Valour! Compassion!, Angels in America: Perestroika and Angels in America: Millennium Approaches. Other notable productions include August Wilson's The Piano Lesson and Gem of the Ocean.

A musical based on the documentary Grey Gardens will begin previews at the Walter Kerr on October 3, 2006.
