Walpole-Algonac Ferry

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Walpole-Algonac Ferry serves the city of Algonac, Michigan, and the First Nation reserve of Walpole Island, and (indirectly), Wallaceburg, Ontario, via Highway 40 and Lambton County Road 32. It is currently one of only two border crossings in all of Canada and the United States that allow people to cross on foot or on bicycle. The other crossing is the nearby Sombra-Marine City (Bluewater) Ferry.

This ferry shares the same dock as the Russell Island Russell Island Ferry, but does not serve the island itself.
