Walldorf

Walldorf is also a constituent community of Mörfelden-Walldorf in Hesse.

Walldorf is a town in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis of Baden-Württemberg in Germany with a population of 14,445 inhabitants.

Walldorf is currently probably best known as the city that headquarters the software company SAP, but it is also the hometown of John Jacob Astor. Several of Astor's descendants in the Astor family include the Americanized version Waldorf in their names. The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York, New York derives its name from that name.

The name of the train station is Wiesloch-Walldorf, not Walldorf (which is somewhere else entirely).
