"Walking In Memphis" is the signature song of American singer-songwriter Marc Cohn, from his self-titled 1991 album Marc Cohn. The evocative song has references to Elvis Presley and WC Handy.

The Cohn recording is often mis-attributed to Bruce Springsteen, or Bob Seger.

Lonestar and Cher have also released covers of the song, Cher as the first U.K. single release from her thirtieth album It's a Man's World. Cher also performed it on her Do You Believe? Tour and some legs of her three-year Living Proof: The Farewell Tour. German techno band Scooter remade the song as "I'm Raving".
