Włodzimierz Smolarek

Włodzimierz Smolarek (born July 16, 1957 in Aleksandrów Łódzki) is a retired Polish football player, who played for clubs such as Widzew Łódź, Legia Warszawa, Eintracht Frankfurt (West Germany), Feyenoord Rotterdam (Netherlands) and FC Utrecht (Netherlands).
He played for Polish national team, for which he played 60 matches. Smolarek was a participant at the 1982 FIFA World Cup, where Poland won the third place and 1986 FIFA World Cup.
He lives in the Netherlands where he works as a football coach. His son Euzebiusz Smolarek is also a footballer.
