Wênio Moraes Pio, commonly known as Wênio (born September 9, 1979 in Mineiros, Brazil) is a Brazilian football (soccer) midfielder, who currently plays for CS Marítimo in Superliga.

The Brazilian was an unknown quantity when he signed for Maritimo from Corinthians Alagoano in 2002. However the hardworking midfielder has become a crucial figure in the Marítimo first team, holding the midfield.

His bravery and determination have often been put to the test many times, but Wênio has established himself as an influential character in starting line up. His grit and determination has made him a favourite with the Maritimo fans, as has his peroxide blonde hair.
