The United Wrestling Association (UWA) is an American independent professional wrestling promotion owned and operated by Danny Ray Grubb in the Knoxville area of East Tennessee. Shows are held every Thursday night at Green Acres Flea Market located on Airport Highway (U.S. 129), eight miles south of the Knoxville city center.

The promotion has featured some of the more well known Total Nonstop Action Wrestling stars, including A.J. Styles, America's Most Wanted, and The Naturals. It has also featured former World Wrestling Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling stars, including Tom Prichard, Tracy Smothers, Romeo Roselli, Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey of The Midnight Express, and Ricky Morton. All of these stars have competed in at least one match in 2006 for the UWA.

The UWA has operated for approximately 5 years while owned by Mr. Grubb, which is notable itself considering the current wrestling climate in the United States. Furthermore the UWA is the premiere promotion in the region surrounding Knoxville (3rd largest city in Tennessee). It may be the only wrestling organization in Eastern Tennessee (10,000+ sq. mi.) that promotes over 52 live shows each year. In addition to a growing DVD library, UWA Aggression is televised on cable television in the Knoxville area.

In 2006 alone the UWA has promoted matches featuring eight former WWE stars (including former WWF tag team champion and executive Tom Prichard, who performs for UWA every week), six former WCW stars (including Ricky Morton and the original Midnight Express), and six stars currently contracted by TNA wrestling (most notably A.J. Styles and Chase Stevens, who reigned as UWA champion for 5 weeks). It was the home promotion of current WWE-contracted developmental talent Devin Driscoll, and other Ohio Valley Wrestling stars compete in UWA matches semi-regularly.
