The United Front is a combat opposition movement that was formed 205 days after Annihilation Day. Its mission is to thwart Annihilus' goal of galactic conquest. The group is headed by Nova of Earth 616 with Peter Quill (formerly known as Star-Lord), who stands second in command. They consist of the bulk of the Kree empire, and thousands of warriors and survivors from hundreds of other alien races that suffered a crushing blow from the invading alien forces. They all joined together in an effort to stop the advancing Annihilation Wave. Their space-born forces consist of the three Heralds of Galactus, (Firelord, Stardust and Red Shift) and the ground forces are led by Richard Rider himself, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, and Ronan the Accuser.
