Ultras (UK politics)

Ultras was a right-wing Protestant section of the Tory Party, that broke away from the party after Catholic Emancipation, in the UK.

They changed their stance on reform and proceeded to support the 1832 Reform Act believing that a wider franchise would not accept Catholic Emancipation.^{[citation needed]}
