While I concede that perhaps the revision was TOO indepth, the point of the article itself is to explain, isn't it? By that notion that zero-point-energy shoudl at least have a paragraph of brief explanation in layman's terms, since it was indicated to at least be integral to the Asis, if not the story in general.

In any case, I still think it'd be a good idea to expand on this article, as it is ridiculously simplistic, and does a rather inadequate job of explaining the story. --The Timeturner July 4, 2005 18:23 (EST)

To be honest, I don't see why the entire Ultimate Trilogy couldn't fit into a single article, instead of having three separate articles for each mini-series. The story synopsis in itself doesn't need more than three short paragraphs per mini-series. It certainly does not warrant a page by page description like you had done before, and division by issues makes the page to cluttered with irrelevant minutia.

As for ZPE, it already has its own article. At best, a one-sentence reference on why it's important to the story and a link to it should suffice.

If you look at the articles of the best known comic book characters (eg Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, X-Men, Captain America, Fantastic Four, JLA), they don't have issue by issue synopses, but rather focus on the characters' history and evolution. A single mini-series with a short shelf life about a derivative alternate universe does not warrant such an indepth look. --Pc13 July 4, 2005 23:52 (UTC)

Except... This isn't a page on a character. It's a page dealing with a specific story (or rather, part of a story), and thus should go into much more depth than, say, the small couple paragraphs describing it that will probably appear on the 'Ultimate Reed Richards' page (or related ones) that will appear sometime in the future.

The reason I did an almost page-by-page synopsis was because the mini is so far incomplete- as it is not finished, I thought it would be best to provide an indepth analysis so that it would be easy to perhaps predict future issues, and at the least provoke discussion on the series itself (I concede that a paragraph on ZPE was unnecessary in hindsight- at the time I didn't think to look it up, and had assumed it was traditional made-up comic-book jargon). --The Timeturner July 5th, 2005 29:34 EST
