Have there been any hardcovers of this? If no one else wants to put isbn # i will go out and get them and add them.

There are hardcovers available now (at least according to Amazon). What I'd like to know is if the hardcover includes only the first story arc (The Fantastic) or the first two (i.e., does it pull together the first two trade volumes like the Ultimate Spider-man hardcover).
There is one hardcover out, with a second one coming in April 2006. The first hardcover does indeed contain the first two arcs; the second hardcover will have the next two and the annual. Hope this helps :) rst20xx 17:46, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Continuity problems - expanded section or not?

I say yes. The reason is the exact nature of the continuity problems with the UFF is a large source of confusion on the Internet, and if somewhere is going to explain it properly, IMO it should be Wikipedia. Now I know the expanded section in itself is confusing (due to the confusingness of the continuity issues), but if it is confusing, that doesn't mean it should just be deleted. You should instead edit the phrasing of it make it less confusing, not just delete it rst20xx 13:11, 26 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "Too Cosmic"

Bill Jemas rejected Grant Morrison's proposed second Marvel Boy series with the words "too cosmic", not his UFF proposal. Kelvingreen 00:58, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Latveria"

In the recent issue of the Frightful it is shown that Victor does in fact control Latveria when the Fantastic Four go there for help. It is probably reasonable to assume that he took over Latveria sometime earlier in the series and probably controlled it during the Ultimate Spider-man game and Ultimate Thinker.

[edit] "Older FF and the Reed Richards Science Center"

Its clear that the continuity problems have not yet been resolved. There was some speculation offered that the Reed Richards Science Center could be explained because the President Thor arc indicates two years have gone by since the accident, which means it could have been built in that time if Reed was public for long enough. However, that is not possible because the Ultimate Spider-man issue and video game that reference the Reed Richards Science Center all took place before the appearance of Johnny Storm in Ultimate Spider-Man, at which point the FF are still not a public figures. The continuity issue remains. I think until it is addressed further by the writers, it is best to just leave it to the speculation that it will be addressed by the writers sometime in the future.IndyLawSteve 15:29, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree, and think that all the speculation should be removed since this is an encyclopedia. Also, I think there should be some sources cited about how the many writers have talked about fixing the continuity issues. --Silver lode 17:30, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Frightful Four

Does anyone else think it important to note the infected Fantastic Four seem to pose the greatest threat to the Ultimate Marvel universe? They have repeatedly said their sole purpose is to spread their virus and turn all the mutants and heroes of the Ultimate universe into monsters. Other villains such as Doctor Doom or the Mole Man aren't so dangerous they have to be kept in a special holding cell just to prevent them from destroying the universe, for goodness' sake.

Also, Mr. Fantastic refused to simply kill them all when he had the chance. Because of his decision, all the deaths in the Baxter Building the Frightful Four caused when escaping are pretty much squarely on Reed's shoulders.

Since Doom and Reed have switched minds in the arc, it looks like it's going to be up to Victor to save the world from the catastrophic mess Reed left. If his final lines of issue #31 refer to the Frightful, not the Fantastic, Four, then it looks like he'll be the one to eliminate the threat to their universe. A little ironic, considering Reed is the one who brought the zombies into the Ultimate world in the first place.
