Quad Dipsea
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Quad Dipsea is a 28.4-mile trail "ultramarathon" held annually in November on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. It starts and ends in Mill Valley, California. It follows the Dipsea Trail to Stinson Beach, the same course as the Dipsea Race and the Double Dipsea. Making two complete round trips, the race has 9276 feet of both climb and decent. First held in 1983 with only 8 runners, the race is now limited to about 250 runners.
The next race, as of 2007, is scheduled for 2007-11-24. This will be the 25th running.[1]
