Philip Yancey

Philip Yancey is a Christian author. Fourteen million of his books have been sold worldwide, making him one of the best-selling evangelical Christian authors.[citation needed] He has been published by Zondervan Publishing.

Yancey's father died when Philip was one year old after his church elders suggested he go off life support in faith that God would heal him. [1] After earning graduate degrees in Communications and English from Wheaton College Graduate School and the University of Chicago, Yancey joined the staff of Campus Life Magazine in 1971 where he served as Editor for eight years. [2]


Yancey was for a period an editor for Christianity Today magazine and is now a columnist and editor-at-large. Yancey's works include
