Phaedra (play)

Phaedra is the name of a two separate plays about the Greek mythological figure Phaedra.

The Phaedra of Euripides struggles against her unlawful love, but is overcome by Aphrodite. The Phaedra of Seneca the Younger is sensual and shameless, deceiving her nurse in order to gain her as an accomplice.
