Originally a "TottenhamBoy" of Anglo-Saxon, Irish, Welsh and Hugenot ancestry. I spent my youth at Woodford Green IG8 Essex .I left the U.K. for Germany in 1984.... living variously in Berlin and München-Schwabing (hence the name Isar). Back in Berlin-Schöneberg since 2002 [2]. I still miss the nearness of the Alps and the view of the Zugspitze from my window, Bayerische Gemütlichkeit and of course the beer.
