Israel Webber (born November 8, 1988) is a high school student who currently lives near Navasota, Texas, United States. The article has just been changed to first-person, because I thought the other way was getting old.

Wikipedia is better than mySpace.

I was born on the last day of presidency of former president Ronald Reagan. I am the son of an Irish/German/Czech American father and a Native American/Irish American mother. I am a fan of the drummer Ted Kirkpatrick, drummer Travis Barker (even though I don't like Blink182), and guitarist Troy Thompson. I am an openly Independent Christian. My favorite bands include Showbread, Haste the Day, mewithoutyou, Family Force 5, Stellar Kart, Underoath, and MxPx.

Although originally raised Baptist, my father is/was Roman Catholic, while my mother is a United Pentecostal. Currently, I am an Independent (nondenominational) Christian. During my years in Junior High, I was strictly agnostic. I never denied God, I just wasn't sure he was there, and I tried my hardest to disprove Biblical teachings. I read Darwin's Origin of the Species, and oddly enough, got me started into going to religion as an answer because of the extreme innacuracies within his book. During the summer of 2001, I became a Christian yet again. My beliefs vary, and in some instances, are taken from other religions. Some views that many might find odd (or different) are listed below:

• I believe that those who are Jewish also go to heaven, or some form of afterlife, as they have a oath with God through Moses.
• I believe that those who are Jewish or Hindu should not be targeted for conversion to Christianity.
• Cussing, although immoral, is not a "greater sin." I do not frequently swear.
• The King James Version Bible is not the best translation of the Bible.
• God speaks through those who are not Christians as well (Ghandi, for instance).
• Evolution is not viable, as it is an innacuracy of man, in my opinion.
• The Book of Revelations to be taken literally is not correct, symbolism is the correct way to read the writings.
• Abortion is disgusting, and morally imperfect.

I am an outspoken Independent. I don't like political parties really that much any more, they're too narrow-minded. My conservative leanings include being pro-life, being against homosexual marriages (although I openly admit that I do not care), and others. My liberal leanings include enviromentalism, foreign policies, etc. Although a proponent of keeping "the air squeaky clean," I'll be the first one to openly admit that I am against people who are too pro-animal, going as far as to put animals ahead of humans. When the topic of homosexual marriage comes up, I don't like it. Think about a kid who's parents are gay, and all the students laughing at him... It'll make him feel demoralised, even if the parents are good parents. He'll have some personal problem later. Now... Civil unions, I don't care about, though I am against, I don't control their lives.

I support Barack Obama (Democratic Senator of Illinois) and Condoleezza Rice (Republican Secretary of State). If they ran against each other in a polical race, it would be the hardest political descision of my life. I supported George W. Bush, but was overall, annoyed at John Kerry.
