Ideal World is a shopping channel in the UK owned by Ideal Shopping Direct Plc. The company also runs shopping channels Ideal Vitality, Create and Craft and The Jewellery Vault. They also run an extra website called Ideal Flowers.

In June 2006, Ideal World restructured its presenting team and three of its female presenters had their employment terminated[citation needed]. They were Abby Surgeon and Nikki Vincent alongside Gema Ensenat.
The departure of Alan and Barry in 2006, who made up Ideal World's crafting duo left some viewers shocked. The duo decided to leave Ideal World to concentrate on their Rainbow Glass business.
Due to poor sales one of their sister channels the "Jewellery Vault", was closed on 16 July 2006.
The company is forecast to make £2.5million in 2006. Compared to £3.6m which it made in 2005.
In Spring 2001, a fire broke it out in the Ideal World studio building, Ideal House. By summer, Ideal World was relocated at a temporary studio. Today, Ideal Home House has been fully rebuilt.
