[edit] Buff? Emanation?
The last paragraph in the game description has me scratching my bald head. It reads, in part:
- ...players can also buy pets that grow after being fed items. Pets will start off with a basic attack (and spell if applicable) but gain a power upon reaching the 3rd level of growth and finally an emanation upon becoming mature. Most pet emanations are good and do not count towards the 2 buff limit.
What do "buff" and "emanation" mean? Is "emanation" just a poor spelling of "animation"? Can someone please explain these terms in the article? — Frecklefoot | Talk 21:49, September 8, 2005 (UTC)
- Buffs: Spells cast on characters to enhance abilities, health, etc… for a short time.
- Emanation: Like Buffs but cast from pets and not counted against the buff limit. --Pulsar 19:18, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
